SIZZLING STIRFRY SERIES

What are you Sirens eating today? Here’s what’s cooking in my kitchen: 

MIXED RED & WHITE QUINOA
- Rinse
- 1 cup quinoa to 2 cups water. I added some veggie stock for extra flavor.
- Bring to boil. Simmer for 15 mins. 

FLAXSEED TEMPEH STIR-FRY 
- In a wok or any big saucepan, sauté some coriander, garlic and green onions in olive oil. Add a spoon of brown rice miso paste. (pssstt no one is going to die if you are missing 1-2 of these, just put in whatever you DO have).
- Add in cubed tempeh so it really soaks in the flavors. 
- Then add chopped purple cabbage, bok choy, kale and carrots 
- Drizzle some sesame oil and shave on some fresh ginger as you are stirring.
- Cook until veggies are sautéed but still crisp. Should be around the time the quinoa is done.

There you go. 25 mins and you have a healthy, super delish, vegan, GF, hearty meal which looks real pretty too!
