You gotta suck to get better

Every journey has its ups and down, its successes and its failures. So I present to you the tips I gained from failure #1: Silken Tofu Berry Smoothie.

I put in half a banana, all my leftover silken tofu (maybe 3 tablespoons), frozen mixed berries and some mila seeds. The result: ok enough to drink, not super enjoyable. Here’s what I learned:

1) Do NOT put more than a tablespoon of silken Tofu. Yes, they say tofu takes on whatever flavor it’s mixed with… umm to a certain extent. So keep it minimal (and of course make sure you always use an organic, non-GMO brand)

2) Do NOT put in too many mixed berries. This will result you chewing your smoothie rather than drinking it. Berry mixes usually have blackberries in them which have A LOT of seed so balance this out with some other fruits or just buy yourself a bag of frozen strawberries with every mixed berry bag and ration that shit.

3) If you are using half a banana or less, make sure you add in something else to sweeten it a little more (honey, agave, stevia.) I’m not big on the sweetness but you do need a whole banana or ½ and some honey to balance out the berry tang.

And just remember:
